How much will the camping be this year, is it still $25.00 for the weekend?

What's the best way to get into the event? I won't have my Camaro but can I still drive in and out of the camping area as I desire? It would be myself and 2 boys.

I know last year I just registered my Impala and paid the Camp Nasty fee, how will it work this year.

I have however seen folks register a Camaro in "non-judged" class and put the sticker on a Ford Exploder in the past...:innocent:

I can almost garuntee a Class 26 win at the Nationals. That car is no joke. When I added my cage it put me in that class... and my car won't hold a candle to Tony's car. Not even close.

Of that, I have no doubt, but the statement was too far to haul with an open trailer...so that would/could be a couple awards...

Maybe Tommy didn't get the long haul...I suffer from a severe case of crs on occassion!!

There are rules about transporting firewood due to Elm borer beetles.
Firewood may need to be obtained locally.

YEAH....emerald beetle issues...but I guess some 'store bought' wood ;) could work....

So...like...I could strap a real (new) 55 gal barrel to the truck to take with us ;)

As long as it's contained - yep. They don't have fire rings like a regular campground, but I asked if we were allowed to have a fire. As long as it doesn't mean damaging the grounds - we are good to go.

If I can make it I will bring some wood.

First day of the show is over. Dinner at camp has been served. Lots of members here just hanging out until the wee hours now.

We'll need pics of the weenies being roasted.

We had to roast our marshmallows over "The Barista's" coffee grill. :crazy:


The weather was PERFECT for a car show yesterday and today is a another gorgeous day at Camp Nasty!

Any members who are close should get here if at all possible. (Before the coffee is gone.)
There's still room for a couple of tents.

Had a great time hanging with you guys last night. Have fun there today!

The camp this year was much better than anyone could have hoped for. More than enough room. Nice and flat. Close to facilities. Far away from motorhomes. Security was kind, friendly and helpful. There was water and power. April's fire pit was just the icing on the cake! The only thing that could ave made it better was more members being there.

New innovative ideas are already buzzing around for next year. It can only get better.

With power, water and a good cell signal, I might try camping next year. Just need some noise-canceling headphones tuned to Cody!:D

LOL, you mght call that Taj South or something, but unless April leaves her tent at home the Taj will already be there. I guess Taj I and Taj II would work too tho.

Taj will probably be staying home - unless someone tells me they need it. I had it along last year, but it ended up staying in the trailer all weekend - everyone had their own.

Let me know if it's needed - or any of the other stuff I used to bring along - just in case.....

There was not last year. It was advertised, free wi-fi, but not available. What was thre was locked down.

I don't know if there's an official one. It's possible there will be some hotspots here & there....

magically, the fuel issue cured itself... lol:p
