I picked this up at yesterday's toy show as I thought it had awesome paint, decals, and detailing on it! I have looked around a lot of places, but yet to see this. It does have this controller type this with it that isn't complete, but I am sure that can be taken care of. There is no name that I can find.

So now with the description and info above, I guess now I would like top first, find out what model, brand, etc.... it is and where from? Japan, Argentina, etc...? Additionally, I have seen these things vary for what they go for and I grabbed it because I thought if i didn't keep it, that someone here would want it. With that said, what would you value you it at approx.?

Thanks for info and all that you can provide. Pics below (please be aware, the pics I took were quick and dirty and it looks good in real life):

Just remember what they say on pawn stars. Just because its old doesn't mean its worth a lot of money. And also people have been making fakes of things for a long long time.

The non-remote control version of this car is very common and in perfect condition is probably worth around $60-70. You don't see the remote control version that often so I'd say it's worth a little more than that but not too much considering the remote is broken.

Hey, welcome to the TIN Camaro world. That is a Taiyo. If you will look on the dash on the passenger side, through the windshield, you should find a little stick figure - Taiyo's emblem. Usually the Taiyo lettering in on bottom - not always the case in the remotes though.

There are roughly 40 different color version between the Taiyo, TN, Bandi, and Chi Hung versons. Some have plastic bodiesm but all have tin interior and bottom. There are remotes like yours, bump and go and armed ones that keep them from dropping off a table. Prices range from 10 dollars to 500 dollars depending on quality and rarity.

To see more, go to Dino web site. (The King of Tins)

So if I wanted to let this go right now, what would it go for as the condition is? Kind of swaying on it. This is my second tin Camaro. Adds to my 1400+ diecast collection, but.....

So then was dinograz and 71RS-TPI the experts on these?

Dinograz is the expert and offered a very good estimate in my opinion.

It is really cool looking and I will tell you, I picked it up yesterday at a toy fair for $20.

I thought I could somehow repair or replace the parts missing on the remote. Any of you know what may be missing? I mean, I can see that one thing is clearly the battery cover. I am guessing the other thing missing where the hump is in the remote by the wire is probably steering wheel or something. One of you have a piece that will fit there or know somewhere I can find something to improvise?

Thanks much.
