Sorry I did not help you out earlier on this. Check the number again. Are you sure the last digit is a 8? Coult it be a 4 instead?

Because I show a 14007374 as a 1979-1982 305 intake.

i see a aluminum spread bore intake in the gm performance catalog its part # is 14007377 sometimes gms casting #s are 1 digit of from the part# you might try your local gm dealer .if you could find a dealer with one in stock maybe they could look at it and tell you what the casting # is .hope this might help.
