I would appreciate any help someone could provide. I want to install a big block in a 1971 camaro that originally had a 350 small block. Do I need to change both the frame brackets and the motor mounts? Where can I get these parts for the change. Thank you to all! Steve

You would better off doing a search under the Engine or High Performance forums for this topic.

But to answer your question, no - you don't have to change the frame mounts as long as you don't go wild on the size of your primary tubes. I'm using the stock SB frame mounts, my motor is a blown mild big block and I'm using Dynomax 1 7/8" headers. Fit fine without any problem. I had tried to install Hooker 2 1/8" primaries but I was fighting a losing battle.

Good luck.
