Years ago back in the 80's my friend had this stuff in his Cuda when we were kids. a while back he passed away from diabetes. While his wife was cleaning out the garage she came upon this stuff and thought I would like to have since we always talked about his old stereo. I would like to do something with it in his memory but not sure what to do, this is all true car components. Any thoughts? Maybe I could just use the amps but not sure as they just plug in to the other components. Maybe just make a 12volt stereo for the garage.

You Could install them into a custom console but the limitation is no CD or MP-3 input. IF they work, they would probably sound decent but I would be hesitant to push the sound levels up too high.

I see no reason not to use them other than the space they require for the basic components or if you prefer more modern equipment.

Another option is to get a AC/DC power supply and build a small enclosure so you could use it in your garage...

Thanks, the space is the problem that and no cd, I think maybe your second option maybe the way to go. I think this would be a cool set up in a custom van.

Pioneer components... Proprietary plugs on everything, I'm pretty sure. :(

I would build a box for it and use it in the garage.
