I'm looking to replace the current head unit in my Camaro with this Pioneer multimedia receiver. http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_22423_Pioneer+MVH-P8200BT.html

I am also going to be install subs in the trunk. I have 6x9's in the rear but I want to put some speakers in the front. Is there any kicker panels made for our Camaro's to install front speakers or is it easier to make a hole in the door panels and install the speakers?

My last question is about security. What's a decent security/alarm system for ours cars that does the job?

I think for kick panels you would have to make them. There are custom door panels that year one sells that have door speaker provisions, though they are about 350.00 for a set. I', thinking for going that route when I get to that point so i can have a clean install.

Security wise i generally go with stuff by DEI (Directed Electronics), I dont have much experiance with other companies so someone else may be able to chime in on that.

Year One's end up totalling over $600 once you ship them and pay for the inserts I heard.

No , unfortunately Custom Autosound has not produced any of them yet.
They have many other classics but not our generation of Camaro.

The next best option is to either modify your own kickpanels and put in the XTC protection cups to protect them from the cowl's rain water, or put them in your doors. I'm going with the doors option.

Agreed with Javelin, DEI is the best name we've been told. ]
