Just bought a refurbished radio just like the original that was in my 71' but with new guts. Problem is, the connector on the harness on the new radio is not the same as the connector on the harness in the car. I really don't want to cut the harness in the car as the installation instructions suggest. Any ideas on where I can find the same harness connector other than a junk yard?

Supposed American Autowire makes their harnesses with all stock-type connectors. I didn't see the connector called out in their catalog, but I imagine they could sell you the piece none the less. I'd say give them a call and see if you can pick one up:
