I want to put a correct AM/Fm DELCO RADIO I bought back in my 74 camaro, NO AC , but I have a center CONSOLE . I removed a tiny pioneer stereo thing , that was easy , came right out . The Delco Radio is HUGE and won't slide in .

Question is what is the fastest or best method (parts to remove) to get the Delco back in. Very hot in the garage , thought somebody might have been though this prceedure and could save me some time in that sweat box.:)

Remove the console.
You will have plenty of room to get the Delco unit installed once the console is out of the way.
