It could sit in front of gear stick bezel on auto 2nd Gen consoles and be removable yet allowing a retro unit to occupy the stock dash location.

Oh great........

I really DID NOT need to see that right now.....dammit.
Now I gotta have it. I think that is just so damn cool and
SOOOOO much cheaper then an in dash DVD player with a screen like that.

I'm looking through all the install video's now to see what I need.

The Ipad Itouch etc do not have real time GPS functions they also can not produce sounds range as good as a normal car stereo.

My god!! awesome! the first time I've seen iPad, I've thinked: "How can I put it in my car??"

In Italy I've been one of the first to put an iPod in car, without a car stereo

I'm looking to do this as well. I did some measuring and it looks like it will fit pretty easily. I'm doing some reading now on what processor to use. Soundman used an Audison Bit 1 which looks cool but is quite pricey. Many people use the 360.2 as a cheap alternative but it looks very ugly.
