We made a deal on a house yesterday that has an attached two car garage and we are going to build a detached 24x40 for me out back. Both should be done in 4-6 weeks hopefully. I am looking for flooring ideas for my garage. Something that looks nice, is tough as hell and cleans up easily. I am going to call for a price on this stuff.....
http://www.garageoutfitters.com/flooring.php just wondering if you guys have any other suggestions.

I say just simple sealed concrete.

It seems very similar to U-Coat it. I would ask if you could see a sample or if they could put you in contact with someone local near you that would let you check it out and talk to.

For that flooring installed it is 5/sq. ft. About $5K to do the garage. I have a friend who does concrete and he says the dyed concrete with sealer will still stain. I am concerned about this because I do like to get into heavy, messy work sometimes and the 49 leaks oil and likely always will.

I'd just use U-coat it...
ask the concrete guy how long to wait before epoxying and just keep nasty stuff off so you won't need to do deep cleaning & prep work, just sweep off and coat it.

I have asked alot of people about the do it yourself epoxies and they all say that they are not very durable. I only want to do this once. I will be really pissed when it starts lifting with the tires. My cars tend to sit for long periods of time.

a freind and i did his with the cheap one that home depot sells and we did 2 coats with the dumb sprinkles, then we bought the clear coat for concrete and 3 days later he dumped fricken 1 qt of brake fluid all over it, cleaned up perfect and left no signs of weakness, id say thats great.

Like paint, it's all in the prep. If it's applied to super smooth and/or not properly cleaned concrete, it won't adhere... If its got enough tooth to bite and is free of contaminates, it'll hold great.
If you are pouring fresh, have them leave it with just a tad of texture, not perfectly power-honed smooth, and the epoxy stuff should be near indestructable once set.
