got a messed up holley 750 dbl pump on my 383. Jasper racing who built the motor recommends an edelbrock 750. (its what they put on this build)
any recomendations? I mostly just run the street and want reliability.

How is the Holley messed up? Is it something that can be fixed with a quick rebuild? If so, I would do that first before buying a new carb. If the carb is beyond easy fix, the Edelbrock might be a good choice since I assume Jasper built the engine with it in mind. Personally, I would not use a DP carb for mostly street driving, but that is just my opinion. good luck.

You should just fix what you got but if you wanna change carbs, look into the Edelbrock performer or thunder series carbs!

Its leaking, i was told it was modified for the track only, and only really worked well @ WOT. I want to every day it on the street. I want reliability not for the track. I bought the car for the car...the motor was a bonus.

Personally, I would try to fix the Holley. But - I've messed with them for a while and that's just me. If you decide to get another carb, pm me about the Holley.

And BTW, welcome to the board...
