I have this 1995 454 out of a chevy 1 ton 3500 series truck. The serpentine belt setup is sort of like a a small block setup. It has the big aluminum brackets that support the generator power steering on the driver side and compressor is on the passenger side.

will it clear a hood on a 74 Camaro? I am not sure if I can swap the power steering pump or if the stock pump will fit in the 454 mounts?

One thing you might consider is a kit that allows you to run the smallblock TBI brackets on a big block. They're a lot lighter and move everything down a bit.
