can I drop a big block right into a camaro frame? Or is there fitment issues?

It will drop right in using factory mounts. Depending on intake choice you might have hood clearence issues.

mine bolted right up. but i will have to cut the hood.

thank you! This particular application is for a '79 camaro clip grafted to a '58 pickup frame, so hood clearance won't be an issue for this one. I was worried about how the block would sit down into the frame. I figured that it would drop right in. Thank you for your help

they almost fit....sometimes a bigger hood is needed :) :) :)
