I'm building a 72 camaro with an LS1. The front of the motor is 5/8th to the passenger side (measuring from center of harmonic balencer) is this correct? And the tailshaft should also be 5/8 off center as well correct?

Damon 03-21-2010, 07:59:26 PM Sounds about right, if a bit less that I would have thought, at the front. Never measured at the tailshaft tuff57 03-21-2010, 08:15:03 PM so the tailshaft would have to be 5/8th offset as well correct? Damon 03-21-2010, 08:36:54 PM I'm not entirely sure that's the case, but somebody will chime in with the answer who's checked both front and rear. Somebody here knows the answer. bigblock665 03-21-2010, 08:38:19 PM so the tailshaft would have to be 5/8th offset as well correct? This is not the first time I herd about this! Ill let you know! tuff57 03-21-2010, 09:12:47 PM okay thank you, it sounds about right that they should both be the same offset so it doesn't affect thrust angle or that it's all parallel |
