Converting my 8.5" (differential) open 2.41 to a trac-lock 2.73; bad weekend just got worse...anyone have a whole set of trac-lock gears/clutches/spring?

While setting my backlash to check the pinion depth by the teeth pattern I noticed (how I missed this before bewilders me...) that the trac-lock pinion gears are in BAD shape.

The open diff I took out has smooth pretty gears (hmm...a 2.56- open carrier wouldn't by some miracle use the same pinion gears as a 2.73+ trac-lock, would it?).
These look -really- bad, right?

GM part #'s...
231260 $ 19.58 Preload S-spring
231127 $155.97 Clutch/Disc kit

Anyone know how much the diff side gears are? Or better yet, does anyone have a whole set of gear/clutches/spring? The spring and clutches alone were $176!!! Someone mentioned they paid $60 before; years ago probably, or I need to find another dealer.

If you can find a 2 series you can take all of the parts from it and put in yours. Most people will sell a 2 series cheap and there are a lot of them out there. Check the classified ads on this sight.

So the 2.56 and lower cases do use the same internal parts as the 2.73 and up? Anyone here got one (already posted in the Swap Meet section)?
