I found in summit a pair of thrush for 60 bucks
i was wondering if they are anything like the flowmaster in sound(it says the same exact stuff as the flow master add is why im asking)
if not how do they sound? thanks

Basicly the same design as a flowmaster 40. That's if you're talking about the welded Thrush mufflers.

Summit sells a house brand welded muffler for $30 that looks exactly like the 40 series too

I have the thrush welded mufflers on my car and I think they sound real good. Plus you cant beat the price compaired to flowmaster.

I SOLD QUIT A FEW WELDED THRUSH AND THEY SOUND JUST LIKE A 40 SERIES FLOWMASTER

I have the 3" in/out. they sound just like a flowmaster,had em on there for 2yrs. now.

I will have to check on this for my 74

Ive got the 2.5" thrush welded mufflers as well, had them a lil over a year, no problems sound great

I agree with everyone else, They have a great sound, and are cheap in price. I have a set on a '80 4x4 Chevy truck. I thinking about putting some on my camaro.

The thrush turbos sound cool right off the end of headers "no cats". They're quiet till you punch the loud pedal!

if you're running mufflers right off of the header look no further than these purple hornies !!! ....these were what you ran on performance built muscle cars back in the day
