View Full Version : Speedo Cables Again arggggg Knuckle Dragger 10-29-2003, 11:10:00 PM Question for those that have a four speed. Under the transmission bellhousing where the cable passes from left to right there are two retainers right? Where do they bolt? What do they look like? Anyone willing to get me a picture? I ordered the cables from GM, but it did not have the retainers. Please help this is driving me nuts. ------------------ All those Ford boys pay for my Chevy toys. 1981z28 10-31-2003, 01:17:00 AM I am just installing a 4 speed in my 81 that I got out of a part car. The cable hangs on 2 "J" hooks that go on the two bottom tranny/bellhousing bolts. I've got them in my garage right now but I don't have a digital camera to send you a picture.
