i bought the hurst quarter stick shifter (great shifter by the way) and i also got the aluminum cover for it but the pins dont fit the holes. has anyone else ran in to this problem or did i receive the wrong cover? i might just return it and the plastic one hopefully it looks as good as the other one. just thought id share and save someone the hasle of returning it

I just bought my quarterstick and cover too. Mine didn't have the pins at all. I tried to exchange it, but I got the last one. I just went to Ace Hardware, and bought 2 lock pins of 1/4 in diameter. I had to shorten one of them with a dremel tool, but it looks great now.
