Just got my new pistons in. Are all Sealed Power pistons made in India? They sure look pretty :bowtie: . I was gonna also buy some ARP rod bolts but I found a place that sells reconditioned rods with ARP rod bolts already in them. They were just about $30.00 more than the ARP bolts alone so I figured I would go ahead and get them. The rods look nice but they each have different casting numbers on them. Is this a big deal? Is it normal? These are supposed to be xrayed, balanced, etc... I'll post pics soon!

You can buy New SCAT rods (w/ARP bolts) for about the same as rebuilt rods.

Federal mogel moved a bunch of their manufacturing to India a couple of years ago as far as I know all their pistons are now made there

Depends on where you buy them. The site I cant think of right now...but they can be had for under $100 a set w/ARP wave lock bolts.
$ 114

Scat rods will run you double that.

I paid $100.00 for mine (reconditioned). They look good. There are a couple that don't look as good as the rest (a little rust on the journal area). Overall they look good.

Sounds cast to me.
Could be counterfeit parts from China etc.
They counterfeit everything over there.

Not unless Federal Mogel is stocking counterfeit parts in their own warehouse because that's where they came from :)
