When I got this car back in 1992 I pulled the interior and found a biuild sheet behind the back seat. If someone has a 1978 Camaro and the vin # is 1Q87D8N172585 PM your address and I will send you the build sheet.
I'm thinking it was probably trashed years ago because it came with a L22 engine and a 2.73 rear axle gear. But just in case, let me know.

That's a bummer Wes, find a build sheet & it's not even your cars'

Where did you get your car originally?

I bought the car from a guy in Georgia. I wish it was my build sheet because it is in really good condition.

Gary, you finally ready for some car shows this year? Are you going to let us see that car in this life time?

I'm ready - don't know about my car thou LOL :p

It's at a friends getting 1/4 panel work done right now. Supposed to be done at the end of March. I've started putting the short block together also. I'd love to have it running by the fall but who knows  If I didn't have a full time job I'd have more time to work on the car

It would have been a great find if only it was for my car! Mines a 72.

My build sheet came from rear seat backing and I have it plastic coated for keeps. But yesterday I had to remove driver seat for broken slider release so after flipping it over in driveway I found another build sheet. It's tucked under driver seat and very fragile pinned behind the wire. I flipped the one corner over and it matches my other build sheet exactly by numbers and original dealership in Calgary. Going to leave it in there since it will be destroyed by trying to take it out.

At least you guys have found the ones for your cars. But it's not like my car is something special as far as options go. I found all I need to know about it by decoding the trim tag and the vin.
