What's the best way to plug the kickdown hole in the transmission? I took the kickdown off my car and need to cap the hole so it won't leak...I cut the plastic piece on the kickdown tube that holds the actual cable and capped it with a vacuum cap like you would use when plugging the large vacuum fitting on a holley carb...do you think this will hold?

The steel cups like a freeze plug. I don't remember what size it is but those plugs are available in just about 'every' size.

Just clean the part that you cut the cable off of real good. Fill it with JB weld.(take it off of the car). After the JB cures put it back in.
