Hey guys I'm having some PITA problems..I bought a B&M shifter and i cant bolt it down to the floor, i drilled holes for them stuck bolts through them but cant attatch the nuts on the other side, the tranny is in the way and cant get the nut up there at all, am i doing this right? what should i use instead of bolts with nuts? help guys this is really frustrating for me. thanks in advance

Run down to parts store and get some capture nuts or whatever they are called. Have a bent metal piece that clips the nut in place from the top sort of like what holds body panels on all over the car. Plenty strong for your use.
