Everything I've seen says that in '77 the
T-10's went from a left and forward reverse..to a right and back.My '77 has a
T-10...but the reverse is still to the left and forward?Is what I'm hearing wrong,or did they mabey just carry over some of the trannys with the other shift pattern?

Mine is left and up,all of the other ones I had,including one from an 81 Z was the same also.
Now the T-4 is right and down.

When I owned by 77, 78 and 80 Z's they were all left and forward. I know the 80 was lift up first but can't remember if the '78 was that way. I remember the '80 said lift on the shifter pattern.
