I want to know what my rpm will be when I shift from 1st to 2nd and I forgot to look last time the car was insured. Can anyone help me out...my math isn't so good.

81z28 with th350,4.10 gears,28in tall tire, and 3000 converter. If I shift from 1st at 6300, what should the rpm be in 2nd?

The math works out to 3800 rpm, but it will be somewhat higher because your converter slips.
