I have a 70 camaro with only a stearing wheel, it had no internal parts I keep looking what is necessary to make it work and I keep finding parts in the parts books. I have the springs now but can someone tell me all of the internal parts I need please, pics of how to set it up would be great as I have not been able to find any and i am a visual guy. If I see it i understand if I read it maybe.

Hi Jmax,

I'm going to move this thread to "Interior" as you'll get better looks and responses there. If I get a chance, I'll see if I can photograph and upload an exploded diagram of the steering column and the horn bits for you.

Cheers,

thanks, I took your advise and bought a new front supsencion rebuild kit, 1 3/8 hotchkis front sway, 2 in lowing springs, ias shocks, and the hotchkis rear leaf springs to get rid of the body roll I posted about a week ago. A small bounus came my way so the car is going to be retrofitted.

You're going to love your car when it's done. Congrats on the new suspension goodies and hope to see you at some of the California GoodGuys or local car stuff sometime.

Another note ... my girlfriend's '67 Chevelle just got Hotchkissed and I sold her a spare set of 17" wheels with Kumho Ecsta MX tires. Drove her car last Sunday at a local autocross event and I was amazed on how well that car turns in and sticks now. Just plants it and goes where it's pointed ... WOW.

She rode with me and was amazed that I didn't say anything during the run. Normally, I cuss at the car like a banshee.

Cheers,

Just wondering if you are going back with stock 70 wheel or the 71-81 style or aftermarket wheel? I have been having some of the same issues with trying to install the 71-81 wheel on my 70 Camaro. Will be watching the thread hoping for those pics and a diagram also.
