NO, the Camaro runs...it should not be on blocks. The awning is poured into the blocks , so hopefully it'll take a really big wind to blow it into the cars and the house...

Yeah, stuck the poles in the blocks and poured the cells with concrete. I didn't fasten the corners to the roof down, so when it gets windy they flap, but there is no lift...yet anyway!!

I had the contraption pictured below fastened to 2' long augers that I drove down into the ground and one night it ended up in front of the garage across the big door. It is gone now. It pulled the augers right out and somehow, thankfully, missed the car! :O

I think the best idea is to build a timber floor with decent sized (4"x10" or so) rough cut lumber and fasten the shelter to that. Then the weight of the car will hold the whole thing down. If it gets windy enough to move that you won't want to be around anyway!! I was thinking of doing that but the shelter took off before I got around to it so I decided to build another garage instead.

So, does it have A/C? Hell, it's better than mine right now.

good ventilation. it doesn't matter where you wrench your ride, as long as you wrench. how does the cinder blocks and concrete work? i set up a car port in from of my garage for extra space but the wind keeps moving it around.

not so bad, fresh air, room to work. my garage is so small I usually work in the drive. pisses of the nieghbors to no end!! but seriously, if I have to work inside I park diagonlly across both spaces!
