I have two badly rusted gas tank floor braces. Only available parts that I can find are made for a 1967/68 or a 1969 Camaro. Can anyone tell me if they would do the trick on a 1980?? I am hoping that with minor alterations we could weld it into my '80?? Any good advise welcomed!!

they won't fit. smaller gas tanks... and different shapes.

Just to be sure we are talking about the same thing... I am talking about the welded braces under the rear pan, not the straps. Thanks for your help.
