I'm pretty sure I want to go with hugger orange with the white stripes on my car, but I would like the stripes to match what a 70 would look like. Does anyone have a pic of the hood showing me how they are painted?
Here are some pics of my car at the bodyshop, 1 week elapsed.

You should call Calssic Industries in Huntington Beach, California. They have the stripes in white vinyl as original or you can get the stencil kit

There is a big difference in stripe stencil kits-mine sucked. No directions and not nearly enough special tape to make even one error! I ended up guessing and coming up short on material at 1:00 in the morning in the middle of my paint job. Choose wisely and paint the stripes if possible. Check my picture for the results.

Thanks for the suggestions fellas, however I think the stripes would look funny going through the L88 hood so I am going a solid colour, most likely some sort of silver.
Nice yellow paint, love those bright colours!!

You could always do it the way I painted mine.
