I'd suspect a non-Chevy application for the Chevy engine?

Found it. 1988 truck block 5.7 350 4 barrel.

only difference might be is a 2 bolt vs 4 bolt? I think 88 trucks could have came with a roller cam, and would of been a 1 piece seal, so if you just wanted a block might be a dead match for a vette, apart from codeletters.
