I was thinking either the original Cottonwood Green or a shade of yellow with Z28 stripes on my 1971.Any additional good ones?I am getting a good deal on a body and paint job and I need to find one quick.Thanks.

Just stick with the DP-90 flat black primer/sealer. Then you can take your time with the REAL paint decisions....

Stick with the original green, if you like it, since you now have the chance. I changed mine from green to yellow years ago and even though I like the yellow, I wish it was the original green again.

First find out what brand of paint your painter is using, then grab your Yellow Pages and see who is your paint dealer in your area for that paint.

Trot yourself over there and tell them that you want to browse their books with the paint chips in it. That way you get to see it yourself before it goes on your car. They have books available for customers to look at.

I believe my color on my car is '94 Ford truck Vermillion Red, in Dupont base/ clear. Shoot with the PPG DP red base and then shoot actual paint, it is an awesome red, and I'm picky about reds, not too orange, not too megenta, just right. If you are going yellow I don't know what year it is but Dodge has a Vivid Canary Yellow that is really good.

Is that cottonwood green a metallic? If it is, do you know of a color like it that isn't metallic?

What color is your interior? Why don't you paint the car the light green then have an emerald green racing stripes with the small outline in black will look real cool and will be diferent then everyone else it will also confuse the police if you get yourself in trouble because at night you won't be able to see the stripes unless under the right light... Now if you have more cash or if they owe you. Get some phantom flames in the stripes but just on the hood or some cool tribal looking stuff be creative and you will always get alot of attention. If you go yellow go with a silver base so the yellow isn't that sh*tty looking dodge/import color

That color has two much yellow in the base. It might look good for the stripes.
