hey does anybody know the exact paint code number and color for a 79? mine looks like hugger orange but it was repainted red so i think it screwed up the original color and i want the original color on it. any help?

Look at your cowl tag. The paint code is stamped on there. Once you know the number, you can stop by your local paint store and have a look at their chip charts and see what color your car is supposed to be.

It doesn't matter what color the car originally was paint it what you want besides most of the colors from the 70 where sh**ty to say the least. Beside a multistage paint job looks alot better...

well i want a bright orange or hugger orange with black stripes but i dont want to have to paint the door jams and take all the gaskets off and im doing the painting myself......
