I'm a little confused. I bought a new 'box for a 3rd gen, code YW (pretty sure), and don't know what to make of the Pitman arm... I thought it should be no big deal to just use the arm off my '80 Z box.

I bought it new. Never was in a car.
I always was happy with my Z28 boxes, but now mine is finally ready to tie up to the dock.
The one I have new ready to go is not the IROC ratio. It is slightly slower, but I believe still around 2.5 turns or so.

So, the pitman arm will just change addresses and get back to woik?
