I decided to go back to original rubber bushings for the rear springs. What lube should I put on the bushings and bolts?

Heck, you could use KY Jelly, for that matter. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/smile.gif 75Camario 11-05-2003, 09:19:00 AM Ha! KY jelly does work pretty good for some things. Ask me how I know. http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/biggrin.gif MacDaddy 11-07-2003, 01:28:00 AM There IS a special lube for stock rubber gaskets that you use prior to installation. It's not very viscous though. Very free flowing. I believe it soaks into the rubber after you install the bushings. It worked great for me when I installed my reconditioned leaf springs last summer. I bought some made by a company called McKay, if I recall correctly. Go an any small parts shop and they'll have it, most likely. ------------------ Gordon 1979 Camaro Berlinetta |
