My paint job is 3 years old. The clear is already chipping off and some of the body panels have this wierd tiny bubble texture that I suspect will turn to crap before long. Is there any way that the clear can be stripped and the car re-cleared? The paint is still good and some spots still look great. Its just deteiorating real fast.

You can try to sand down the clear but not into the paint then re clear. This may not help you with the bubbles.

Sounds like moisture trapped under the clear, the only way to fix it correctly is to strip it off and start over. When the desiccant air line filters go bad moisture gets trapped in the paint.

Got to remove it and start over. I think this is solvent popping, I have it and I was totally over the top with moisture control. If you paint over paint flaws, you will have the same problem later. I tried this a few times, and learned my lesson.
