Gary S 10-23-2003, 08:54:00 PM It is a mixed bag. They have some things that nobody else seems to have. If you need those things, you need to order from them. Keep in mind that their shipping tends to run higher than many places, so factor that in when you compare prices. Also, in my experience, their service is usually really slow. They have some name brand parts that you can buy elsewhere. On those items, compare prices and decide where to buy. Most of the unique things they carry are generic imported parts, and that usually isn't the highest quality. I have purchased a lot of things from them, and when I finally get my hands on the stuff, I'm mostly satisfied. One item they carry that is worth mentioning is their Camaro dual exhaust systems for headers. These systems are made in Minnesota by a small company called Heartthrob Accessories. They are equal in quality to the highest priced mandrel bent aluminized systems available for much more money from other manufacturers, and Hearthrob offers a stainless steel version for about the same price as other manufacturers sell aluminized steel for. I suggest that you buy with caution. Some of the stuff is crap, and some of it is great. If you decide to buy from JC Whitney, be patient. I think the average delivery time for me has been almost 3 weeks.
