I had to maul the trunk lock out of my '77 due to the fact that I didnt get a key.I broke the bracket that surrounds the lock.The oldes Camaros at the bone yards here are 78's and newer.None of them had this bracket,so I was wondering if I could just use a lock for a '78 up car and just take whats left of the bracket off?Everthing else in that area appeared to be identical.Any help is appreciated as always!
