I am in need of some new rims soon and I just saw some 17" rims on the back end of a fox mustang this weekend and it had 16" on the front. I'm not a big fan of mustangs but, I'll have to admit that it did look sharp. Does anyone have any pictures of a 2nd Gen. Camaro with 16" or 17" rims on it? I'd really like to see them. I've got 15" A.R. Tailgunners on mine right now and I just think it looks like there is too much rubber on them. Well, thanks in advance for the input.

Almost every published 2 gen over the last couple of years is sitting on 17's. They look awesome, but wheels + rims = double the price of 15's.

I'm planning on 17's based on a test one of the car mags did a couple years ago, the 17's did the best in all their tests

I guess i'm going to be the only one that doesn't like them, but I'm old school and like a lot of side wall.I've got 15x8 corvette rallys.I just like the classic look. The only other rims I would consider would be 15x8 Crager SS or the orignal torque thrust gray spokes.

Those Vette rims look very nice. What did you have to do to get them to fit? I have a 70 Camaro with a set-up very much like yours. I still have the original Z28 rims on it now, but I have been wanting to put some chrome Z06 wheels on it or some Corvette Grand Sport rims. I had these on my 98 Z and they looked real cool.

Thanks

All I had to do was get some wheel adapters to make up for the difference in the offset.

I had a chance to get some Z06 rims before these but two of them ended up being bent.

I will have to see when I get home..I had a couple pictures of 70's that I photoshopped some Z06 rims onto. I think it looked real good. If I still got them I will email you some pictures.

I'm running the C4 1996 LT4 Vette wheels. You can see them in the links in my signature. The dimensions of the wheel adapters are there as well.
