Does the molding around our windshields have a anodized coating on it? I was told it did and that easy off oven cleaner would remove it so it can be polished out. Does this sound right? There is realy nothing wrong with the molding, just has some small scratches in it but it may just be in the anodizing. So i hope i can get them out.

Yes, the windshield and rear window trim are both brite/clear annodized. Over cleaner will take the coating off, but it might take several applications. Be sure to let it soak for a while too. After all the coating is removed you can polish it out to a like new mirror finish. Be sure to put a coat of wax on it once your done as untreated aluminum oxidizes and will look dull in no time.
