I was under the impression that replacing old windows (front,rear,sides) and T-Tops on my 1979 Z28 for new ones was just a matter of contacting the dealer. Is it the case that only 2nd hand used windows and T-Tops are available in the world and that GM don't have any new ones left in their stores? Is EBay my only option?

You probably can't get any of the glass from GM anymore, but you should be able to get windshields and rear and side windows from any glass shop in your area.

The TTop glass probably isn't available anymore and you might need to find used glass there, but there seem to be quite a few used ones around yet.

Just call your local glass shop that does all the insurance replacement of auto glass.

You're best bet is to contact auto glass shops that specialize in replacing windshields. They may deal with venders that offer replacement glass for your existing top units. Definetly worth a shot. Hope this helps! http://www.nastyz28.com/ubb/wink.gif
