I bought this car, my dream car back in 2004. I found int on Ebay and the winner bid took it for $4400. However, I did bid on it and was emailing the owner during the auction. Doing my homework. After I thought it was long gone, I got one last email from the owner asking if I was still interested because of a dead beat bidder. She said he paid her $100, to not give him a negative feedback. In attempts to protect his 100% feedback.
So, I went down to their house and liked what I saw for the price she was asking. Which was roughly half of the winning bid. So four years later and this is where I am.

The first thing I did was paid a local welder to fix what somebody else did to the floorboards. No photos.
During the tear down things were lost. A donor car was purchased for the A/C, 4 speed with pedals, tilt steering, interior screws, and other little stuff that would have put this rebuild over the edge.
The next thing is to put the thing back together.

My budget says that the LS1, 6spd, and 308's will have to wait. Within the next year, the donor car's 350, 4 spd will have to do. I want my car back on the road. Believe it not when I got it home the place I drove it was up the driveway. Due to other problems like frozen caliper and the heads needed rework. The other thing that I have done was replaced all the lines. Brake and fuel. Photos will come later.

Wyoming is a suburb of Grand Rapids, about 150 miles from Ann Arbor, so I don't get "home" very often. I do have tickets to the Michigan- Illinois game on October 4th, though. It will be interesting to see how the new coach and system pan out at the U of M.

Those rivalries are what makes life fun. You guys have had our number for a while now, and I think this year will be a transition year for us, at best.

We could be living in Iraq or Iran where rivalries are taken MUCH more seriously. !!!!!!!!!!
