right now my 80 camaro has no nose on it what so ever, i got my parts car so i got the parts to put it back on, just dont remember how i took it off since its been a while, do the inner fender wells have to be bolted on before the fenders? Where do they bolt to? also i currently have no radiator support, can i bolt the inner fender wells and fenders on without the radiator support?

1980 camaro,new paint, and floors (damn ttops leaked) needs everything but the motor and tranny im building, literally brand new 80 trans am rear end my dad had sittin around since he bought it new, soon to be a nice 331, 4 speed, and 4.10 gears, glass nose, and some nice street slicks.. just need some time and money

You can actually do either. I took my fenders off and left the wells on, then put the wells back on and installed the new fenders. I did check with my body guy and he told me you can do either. the risk is that if you put the fender on first, you need to kind of persuade the inner fender on and if the fender is newly painted there is a good chance of creating a problem. the innfer well bolts to a brace that comes off the frame and should bolt on to the radiator support with two, maybe three bolts. there is really not right or wrong way, but one is certainly easier than the other.

I think it's much easier to put the inner fender on before the fender, because you can leave it loose and get the bolts started that connect the fender and inner fender together while everything is loose and has play. On the driver's side of my car, I had the fender on and all adjusted and tightened down, and then I tried to put the inner fender in, and it was a huge PITA, since some of the holes didn't want to line up.

I've found that it is best to gently attach them at a couple of points before you put the fender on. They will likely interfere with final panel alignment if totally bolted up from the start and the sheet metal is hard enough to get close. (ask me how I know??)
