Spent this weekend working on the camaro, got a few things accomplished. The package tray looked like hell, so I pulled it out and recovered it with some high quality vinyl. I still need to find some speaker grilles since the ones I hve are nice and heat warped. Turned out pretty well:

I also finally changed out my broken door handle. It was both cracked and didn't work, so I had to open the door from the inside. Works great now. It was pretty hard trying to get to those two screws and the little hook.

Also put on some new Radial TAs, definately enhances the look of the car, alot!

This weekend I'll be respraying the black center on my hood scoop, it's pretty faded. I'll also be replacing the console and adding a U14 guageset. That should be a challenge! My dash is a bit warped so the guage bezel will be tough to remove. Hopefully Year One will get around to sending me my 3 piece front spoiler one of these days so I can add it too!

Thanks for the comments guys! I think this is one of the best colors for these cars. I got the hood scoop painted today, turned out pretty good. Not a professional job, but looks ten fold better than it did. Can't beat it for $10 either. Couldn't get the front spoiler on because the car is too low for my floor jack, kind of a bummer. Gotta figure out how to solve this little problem.

Here's a pic:

Wow looks great, did you do the scoop yourself? What was used to paint it because i really want to do the same to mine... Here is a pic of mine, i have been trying to figure something easy to do so it doesnt look so plain and i think painting the scoop black like yours is would be perfect!!!

It's really easy actually. You can get some of that general purpose plastic covering, I believe it sells for $6 for 30ft at Big Lots. Use it and masking tape to mask off the car, and prep your scoop for painting. There are some very good tips for painting in the body work section of this site. I used dupli-color paint to do mine, you just gotta take the time to prep it right to look good.
