yes i clear coated it the secon time i did it, long story

I painted it a week before super chevy looked great even bought the expencive paint front Ricks 1st gen 39$ left the trunk up went to work
never messed with it again till the day before super chevy when i washed the car and i spen the whole day scrapping it and drying it back out

Only to find out their was a 8 dollar version at O Reilys so i primed it with hammerite silver for a base then painted it with black and green and cleared it

I bet yer story is a lot like mine lol... That spatter paint dont like water...

The hammer should make for a good base.
I like the Duplicolor clear if I'm using a rattle can... good stuff!!

the hamerite makes it fairly simple when its clean
