Anyone out here know of any really good auto paint shops. I don't mind traveling a little, just need a good solid - non sloppy paint job. Thanks

Alot depends on how much your willing to spend, that is going to be the variable whether its a top notch shop or a Maaco job. Give a price range, that will help you to get some replies.

where in nyc are you? My father in law works for a small shop in Coney Island.. But he knows his shit. Has been doing it is whole life..

If you want, pm me and I will tell you where to go and you can get a price.. Its not his shop.. But the guys who do the body work are real good, as is my father in law who does the painting. He will be doing my '79 when I get the cash.

Save yourself from all other "paint shops" or "body shops." What you need is a restoration shop.

Call North Point Restoration in Westbury, Long Island. Ask for Gerard or Rob. Tell them Dan Schutzbank sent you. 516 334 1234

Let me know what they say.

-Dan

email or pm me if need be.

since I have a light day today, I figured I would post some photos of cars painted by NPR... the photos speak for themselves...

If you've got that type of budget, then Absolutely.. But not everyone here is.. Gotta do with what you can afford.
