Heres the problem. My headlights were acting up, I had to turn them off and on several times for them to come on. I replaced the switch 5 months so I assumed that wasn't it. I figured maybe the plug on the back of the switch might have loosened up. So I checked that and it was tight. So I start digging around under the dash and find an orange wire spliced in with three other orange wires ,so a total of four. There I find one of the four wires hanging on by a wire or two so I give a tug and it breaks, this wire also goes into the bundle up to the switch. So I think I have found the problem(one of them) when I notice the black tape around the bundle going down to the fuse box is burned open, and there is one wire that has completely burned all the insulation off, it's orange also. I pulled two screws out of the fuse box to see if I could get a better look behind it but it won't move much. From what I can tell it there is a screw that comes from the engine side where the wires go through into the car, does this screw have to come out for me to get behind the fuse box? How difficult will it be to put all this back together? Any input would be appreciated!

there's one screw on the engine side in the middle of the fuse block. That seperates the two halfs and allows you remove the other half from under the dash.
