View Full Version : MR FBDY's 71 & 79 RS/SS/Z28 before & after pics
MR. FBDY 02-22-2008, 03:51:00 PM Please excuse the scan quality. These were taken many years ago before digital camera were available. After seeing some other posts that shown the degree some go to on their camaro, I went thru my photo albums to scan these in so you can take a look at one of my past creations that I still currently take apart and change.
This is the way I found it:

No way man, that is a nostalgic piece of hardware for the era when I built the car. Puts you back in time to 1995. :)

MR. FBDY 02-22-2008, 07:00:43 PM I can't believe that it still works !!!! :p
It doesn't work. It is analog and has been off for years. I just like it still in the car. Kinda like my friends 70 GTO that has a 8 track player.
Maybe someday if I feel ambitious to pull the interior out, I will take it out, but for now, I have more important things to do. (like cut out the 4 speed hump for BTTB)
KJZ28 02-22-2008, 07:42:17 PM WOW!!! I like the front end conversion looks killer. I love all the knick knacks. The lenco shifter, speakers t/a dash. quality.
Battmann 02-22-2008, 08:58:21 PM man you do nice work!! you want to visit Rochester and help me with my '72?? pretty please?? LOL.

MR. FBDY 02-23-2008, 07:47:15 PM The shifter - Hurst Lightening Rods?
Yep, that is what they are. Never thought I would pay $600 for a shifter, but I had to have them.

Thanks for the kind words. This one was my first "creation" of what I wanted in a camaro. A little of this, a part from that. Now I just have to revamp the 4 wheel disc brakes and relocate the alternator back to the passenger side and I can drive the car again.
What the hell is with this snow huh?
MR. FBDY 02-23-2008, 07:53:21 PM I'm very impressed with how unique your cars are. Very well done.

Too late, I already pulled it a couple years ago and it now has a more streetable 502 in it. (not to say I won't go back to a blower engine, I kept the other hood).

The blown BBC made 850 hp and I kept breaking parts and besides that, I couldn't see anything on the right side of the car when I was driving it.
