I am heading to the track tommorow night for the first time. I got some 275/60 BFG drag radials mounted tonight.Installed my comp engineering J bolt traction bars a few weeks ago but have not gotten sub frame connectors yet. Temps should be in the 50's hope to get some good times looking for a 11.99 to shut some friends up.What pressure should i try first and work down from.I ran 25lbs home from the shop tonight and i was pretty chilly out and I still had no traction on the street.Spun all the way thru second every time untill i let off a the 3 shift. After I sort out tire pressure i will try varying shift points then i will try some different timing set ups and try to get the most mph.Hey MWilson how do you like the BFG's compared to the Mickeys.They don't feel as soft as the Mickeys for sure.My buddy got me a deal on these so i decided to try them. For 300 bucks mounted balanced,new stems out the door I could not pass them up.

I always run 18-20 psi with DR's, good luck man, post up! I never mounted my BFG's, a buddy bought them, im going back to 26" but wider

I was debating the 275/50 because of my 3.73 gear but hoping the 383 cubes will pull the taller tire. I am switching to alluminum wheels after christmas and may switch to the wider 50 series.

Was too tired to post last night so here it is.This was my best run of the night.Had to run tires @ 15lbs too hook and after last run i pulled a plug and it was clean as a whistle plug looked new.Maybe there is still some left in it
to get me to that 11.99.Car ran consistent 12.6-12.8 @ 18psi then dropped to the 12.5's on the last two runs @ 15psi.

The car pulled hard to the 330 felt like it goes soft after that.Hopefully the jetting will pick up the last half of the track.
