Can someone please tell me how to tell the difference between the standard 28 spline and the upgraded 35 spline pinion support in a 9"Ford rear end.

I looked on Moser site and they list two different ones.

I guess the question could be...Is the only difference the seal and bearing or is the pinion housing itself different?

I have a friend that wants me to go look at some parts he is buying off of ebay and I want to make sure what this stuff is for him...

The 35 spline pinion housing has much larger bearings. They will still olt into a stock 9 inch case.
